Asenium Consulting is seeking a Data Analyst with strong AML, KYC and Financial Security expertise to deliver data-centric solutions in a banking environment. The role is hybrid in Brussels, Belgium: 50% on-site and 50% remote.

You will drive business analysis from ideation through delivery, map data flows, define data use cases, and collaborate with Product Owners, architects, SMEs, and development teams to validate requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Deep AML, KYC, and Financial Security data domain expertise.
• Proven ability to bridge business requirements and IT solutions.
• Experience with conceptual data modelling techniques and SQL.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and French; strong English communication.

Responsabilités

• Drive business analysis from ideation through delivery and improvement.
• Analyse and map data flows, user roles, usage patterns, workflows, and data quality issues.
• Define target solutions, business cases, requirements, and data use cases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, SMEs, and development teams to validate requirements.
• Maintain requirements traceability and support impact analysis.
• Translate business requirements into test conditions for product, performance, and UAT testing.
• Support data architecture design, prototype reviews, solution validation, and QA.
• Facilitate testing, change management, and creation of reports and dashboards.
