Euroclear seeks a senior Data and AI Architect to lead the squad responsible for architecture across data, integration, analytics and AI. You will mentor a team of ~3 architects and serve as Product Owner to keep the backlog transparent and aligned with stakeholders.

You will shape strategy, governance, and cost‑efficient, compliant solutions for data platforms and AI in a highly regulated financial services context, partnering with the Data Management Office and AI Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in enterprise, data, analytics, AI or platform architecture.
• Leadership of Data and AI architecture and transformation in regulated environments.
• Experience embedding data governance, regulatory controls, AI security and FinOps into architecture and delivery.
• Experience with Financial services, financial market infrastructure or another highly regulated industry is considered as a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the Data and AI target architecture and roadmap.
• Define principles, reference architectures, reusable patterns and standards across data platforms.
• Manage the Data Design Authority and escalation of material risks.
• Guide Transition Architectures for scalable, secure, cost-efficient solutions.
• Govern data ingestion, APIs, events and change data capture.
• Embed FinOps through cost attribution, forecasting and showback.
• Define architecture standards for data modelling, metadata, lineage and governance.
• Establish ownership and governance for master/reference data and data products.
• Translate data, privacy and resilience obligations into auditable controls.
• Define guardrails for reusable data products and AI governance.
• Advise senior leaders on architecture choices and value/risk.
