Prayon S.A. in Flémalle (Belgium) is seeking a cybersecurity professional reporting to the Global Architect and Security Manager to support SecOps across Europe and assist the Information Security Officer with operations, remediation tracking, and governance.

Responsibilities include tracking vulnerability remediation, reviewing alerts, managing security tickets and email quarantines, coordinating regional cybersecurity, compliance and regulatory activities, and documenting findings and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in IT, ideally cybersecurity.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity or vulnerability management.
• CSSP, ISO27001 certification and NIS2 experience.
• Experience with security operations, Windows and Linux, SIEM, NDR/EDR.
• Familiar with vulnerability remediation, patch management, ticketing tools.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch a plus.

• Assist with Belgian CCB, ANSSI, or other local authority requests when assigned.
• Support IT/OT cybersecurity initiatives with remediation, risk identification, and documentation.
• Document and report security activities, findings, remediation progress, and status clearly.
• Support day-to-day SecOps by allocating tasks and reviewing work quality.

Reporting to the Global Architect and Security Manager and based at the HUB in Flémalle (Belgium), your mission is to focus on security projects across Europe. You support the Information Security Officer by executing cybersecurity operations, coordinating SecOps activities, tracking remediation actions, and providing operational guidance to the team. Working within established procedures and governance frameworks, you contribute to security operations and team performance.

Your responsibilities

• You track and drive vulnerability remediation activities, ensuring timely follow-up, progress monitoring, and escalation of critical issues,
• You support and coordinate security operations by reviewing alerts, performing initial triage, managing security tickets, and following established escalation procedures,
• You review and manage email quarantine requests in accordance with approved security policies and guidelines,
• You coordinate and support regional cybersecurity, compliance, audit, and regulatory activities through evidence collection, action tracking, and stakeholder follow-up,
• You support preparation of materials for Belgian CCB, French ANSSI, or other local authority-related requests when assigned,
• You contribute to IT/OT cybersecurity initiatives by supporting remediation efforts, security reviews, risk identification, and documentation,
• You document and report security activities, findings, remediation progress, and operational status in a clear and accurate manner,
• You support day-to-day SecOps activities by allocating tasks, reviewing work quality, and supporting the Information Security Officer in maintaining operational effectiveness.

Profile

• You have a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in IT or relevant field, ideally specialized in cybersecurity, or with equivalent experience,
• You have minimum 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity or vulnerability management,
• You hold a CSSP, ISO27001 certification and NIS2 Framework experience,
• You have experience with security operations, endpoint security, or industrial environments (preferred),
• You possess strong knowledge of Windows environments and a good understanding of Linux systems, SIEM, NDR/EDR,
• You are familiar with vulnerability remediation, patch management, endpoint security, and ticketing tools,
• You communicate clearly, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders,
• You are a team player to ensure quality delivery and smooth day-to-day operations,
• You identify and elevate issues appropriately while maintaining accountability and operational efficiency,
• You are fluent in French and English. Dutch is a plus.
