Keysight Technologies is seeking a cybersecurity intern to help manage a micro cloud infrastructure for 5G/6G research and security experimentation. You will deploy virtual environments and contribute to R&D by building automated test cases aligned with standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Open5GS, srsRAN, Nmap and other tools, while gaining exposure to Keysight platforms in a state-of-the-art lab environment in Belgium.

Qualifications

• You are studying toward a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or telecommunications.
• You have foundational networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS) and are comfortable working with cloud or virtualized environments.
• You understand core communication protocol concepts and have a basic grasp of 5G/6G architectures.
• You are familiar with security concepts and can connect them to real-world networks.
• It's a plus if you have infrastructure automation or scripting experience (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).

Responsabilités

• Infrastructure management — maintain and monitor the micro cloud for 5G/6G research and cybersecurity experiments.
• User support — onboard users, manage access, and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Testbed development — design and deploy new cybersecurity testbeds within the infrastructure.
• R&D contributions — propose and implement automated security test cases grounded in standards.
• Continuous learning — learn Open5GS, srsRAN, Nmap, Ettercap and Keysight platforms to contribute across all workstreams.
