Cream Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to protect business-critical systems and data within large organizations. You will monitor events, analyze logs, and respond to threats, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, NIST and OWASP standards.

Fluency in French and English is required, with Dutch as an asset. A Bachelor degree and at least three years of IT security experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent by experience.
• ≥3 years in IT security or cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of network security, IAM, vulnerabilities and threat detection.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST and OWASP frameworks.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
• Basic scripting (Python/PowerShell) advantageous.

YOUR FUTURE PROJECTS :

As Nathan, Cybersecurity Analyst at Cream, you play a key role in protecting business-critical systems and data by detecting, analyzing and responding to cyber threats.

Your tasks will be :

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools
• Analyze logs and investigate potential security incidents
• Identify, assess and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation actions
• Contribute to incident response activities and post-incident analysis
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, …)
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure and application teams to improve security controls

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM OUR CONSULTANT ?

• You have at least a Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in IT security or cybersecurity.
• You have good knowledge in security concepts : network security, IAM, vulnerabilities, threat detection
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring
• Understanding of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP)
• Fluent in French and English; a good level of Dutch is an asset
• Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell or similar) is a plus
