Aegis Vision in Belgium is seeking a Project Manager to lead NSIP cybersecurity projects within a large defense organization. Based in Braine-l'Alleud, the role is full-time on-site with potential telework and travel to The Hague about 3 times per month.

You will develop SoWs, manage resources and schedules, monitor risks and budgets, and report to senior executives and NATO committees. You will lead a small team and drive continuous improvements across NCIA, requiring NATO Secret clearance and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline or 10 years of extensive experience.
  • PM experience in a large organization delivering C4ISR or defense capabilities.
  • Formal PM qualification and cybersecurity/IT certifications are desirable.

Responsabilités

  • Lead NSIP Cyber Project Management projects and procurements in cybersecurity.
  • Develop detailed SoWs for competitive bidding and gather comprehensive requirements.
  • Identify, plan and manage resources to meet milestones with corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor project risks, budgets and deliver regular status reports to executives and NATO committees.
  • Provide leadership to 3–5 person teams and drive continuous improvements across NCIA.

Location

Braine-l'Alleud, BE (Full time on-site, with potential telework and local travel within Belgium and to The Hague roughly 3x per month)

Duties & Roles
  • NSIP Cyber Project Management: Lead and execute NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP) projects and major procurement implementations within the cybersecurity domain .
  • Procurement & SOW Development: Develop detailed Statements of Work (SoW) for competitive industry bidding, defining and collecting comprehensive technical and non-technical requirements . Contribute to source selections based on defined procurement strategies .
  • Resource & Schedule Control: Identify, plan, request, and manage the deployment of resources to meet project milestones . Take corrective actions when performance deviates from agreed tolerances .
  • Risk Management & Executive Reporting: Monitor project risks, progress, and approved budgets . Deliver regular status reports, data analyses, and problem resolutions to senior executives, leadership, and NATO committees .
  • Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Provide positive leadership to project teams (typically 3-5 personnel), ensure deliverables meet quality standards, and contribute to continuous project management improvements across NCIA .
Skill, Knowledge & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Electronics) plus 3 years of post-related experience, or at least 10 years of extensive expertise compensating for the lack of a degree .
  • Core Experience: Recent experience as a Project Manager in a large organization delivering C4ISR capabilities in the defense sector, alongside at least 2 years of direct experience delivering military, CIS, or IT capabilities for NATO or a national MoD .
  • Framework & Programme Knowledge: Detailed understanding of the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP), Military Budget (MB), and Common-Funded Capability Governance Models .
  • Qualifications & Certifications: Formal Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, DAWIA Level II, MSP, PMI-RMP, or Lean Six Sigma) . Desirable cybersecurity certifications (CompTIA Security+, CCSP, CISM, or CISSP) and IT certifications (ITIL 4, Agile PM, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or CSM) .
  • Software & Languages: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Power-BI . Language proficiency in English meeting or exceeding NATO STANAG 6001 Level 3 ("Professional Proficiency") .
  • Clearance: A valid NATO Secret security clearance is mandatory .
