Harvey Nash Belgium is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our IT and security team in Brussels. You will protect systems, networks, and data by implementing security measures, monitoring environments, and coordinating responses to incidents.

You will design and maintain security solutions, perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, manage firewalls, SIEM, cloud security, and collaborate with IT colleagues to ensure secure architectures and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT or CS or related field.
• Experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security roles.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or SOC 2.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and cloud security technologies.
• Understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and system administration.
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
