Job summary

Degetel, a human-sized IT consultancy in Belgium, seeks a CSIRT Officer to join a key client project. You will respond to cyber security incidents, manage threat detection and hunting, and develop SIEM use cases.

The role requires at least four years in security, certifications such as GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, GCIA, GREM, and strong English (C1) plus French or Dutch (B2). Freelance or permanent contract.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a security-related role focused on incidents
• Certifications such as GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, GCIA, GREM
• Experience in tabletop organisation and animation
• Expertise in security operations

Responsibilities

• Respond to cyber security incidents (3/4L) including malware infections, intrusions and data breaches
• Manage threat detection and hunting, conduct exercises and analyze security data

Your mission:

• Respond to cyber security 3/4L incidents (malware infections, network intrusions, data breaches)
• Manage threats detection and hunting by conduction exercises, analyze security data...
• Develop, maintain, optimize the SIEM systems by creating and maintaining use cases and detection rules

What you bring:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a security-related role with a focus on incidents
• Certifications such as : GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, GCIA, GREM
• You are experienced in tabletops organisation and animation
