STOW Group in Belgium is seeking a Customs and Trade Expert to work with teams across the organization on growth, issues, and export improvements. Master’s degree required and a minimum of five years’ experience.

You will provide expert advice on complex customs, train sales, finance and logistics teams, and stay current with market developments. Fluency in English is required; French and/or Dutch are a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and clear communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers with expert advice on complex customs and trade matters.
• Create innovative yet pragmatic solutions tailored to the company’s needs, from quotation to fulfillment.
• Act as a thought partner to our sales teams for export countries, supporting project development.
• Guide our logistics and finance teams to ensure correct and compliant fulfillment of orders.
• Stay up to date with market developments.
• Extend expertise through continuing education and seminars.
• Design and administer training to educate our sales force, finance teams and logistics teams and improve export capabilities.
• Dotted line to Customs & Trade Coordinator and take over tasks in absence.

Job Description

• Dotted line to Customs & Trade Coordinator and take over the tasks of this colleague in case of absence.

Qualifications

Profile:

• Master's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to quickly react to queries.
• Clear communication skills, synthesizing complex matters into comprehensible material.
• Demonstrate unwavering maturity and professionalism in complex and stressful situations.
• Fluency in English. French and/or Dutch will be an added advantage
