A leading modular space solutions provider in Belgium is seeking a Credit & Collections Manager to take leadership of credit management and collection activities in Belgium and the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in credit control and collections, leadership skills, and fluency in both French and Dutch. Summary of Your Role

As Credit & Collections Manager, you will take operational leadership of credit management and collection activities in both Belgium and the Netherlands. You will lead a small team, report to management, and act as a bridge between the two markets.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Collection & Accounts Receivable Management

• Proactively follow up on customer payments and manage outstanding receivables
• Maintain telephone, written, and in-person contact with customers
• Lead dispute resolution discussions
• Report on aged receivables and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Analyze the creditworthiness of (new) customers
• Set and evaluate credit limits
• Advise on risks and deteriorating customer profiles
• Participate in month-end closings and reporting

Leadership & Coaching

• Manage a small team (up to 3 employees)
• Distribute tasks and monitor performance
• Guide and develop team members
• Navigate within a matrix organization

Your profile

We are looking for a strong and experienced professional with a solid background in finance and collections, who takes ownership and can operate easily in an international context.

What you bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in credit control, collections, or financial risk management
• Leadership experience (preferably within a matrix structure)
• Fluency in French and Dutch (both written and spoken) – required
• English is a plus
• Willingness to visit customers in Belgium and the Netherlands
• Hands-on mentality, assertive communication style, and strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Navision) and MS Excel
