Job summary

Arcadis in Geel is seeking a C&Q Engineer to support commissioning and qualification activities for a fast-track project valued at over $400M. You will ensure that systems, equipment and processes are installed, commissioned and qualified to industry standards and project specs.

You will lead CQV activities (IQ, OQ, PQ), collaborate with engineering, vendors and project managers, and document results. The role offers opportunities for growth and hands-on training for junior team members.

Qualifications

• Technical background in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering.
• Experience in leading CQV projects.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document commissioning and qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and project managers to ensure smooth handover from installation to operational readiness.
• Identify and resolve issues during commissioning and qualification phases.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in CQV procedures and documentation.
• Provide guidance and training for junior team members when required.
