AECOM Leuven-based cost management professional is sought to monitor and control project budgets, conduct cost reviews and advise on value engineering to keep projects within budget.

With at least 5 years in a similar role, you will coordinate change orders, review contractor invoices, and produce monthly cost reports while communicating effectively with project teams, clients, and suppliers across Belgium.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Belgian cost management practices and the local market.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• High degree of accuracy and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong team orientation and customer focus (internal and external).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project.

Responsabilités

• Review and approve contractor invoices, prepare interim payment certificates, and oversee the settlement of final accounts.
• Attend and contribute to regular cost meetings, producing clear and concise monthly cost reports.
• Deliver cost advisory services and support value/cost analysis for both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Participate in the bid process as required, supporting the bidding team with input and pricing for cost management fee services.

Job Description
