Jobtailor is seeking a Financial Controller in Genk, Belgium, to join the finance team. You will analyze budget variances, challenge budget holders, and identify cost-saving opportunities while supporting monthly closings and KPI reporting.

The role requires a finance degree and strong Excel skills, with SAP and Power BI as valuable assets. Fluent Dutch and English, along with sharp analytical thinking and teamwork, are essential.

Requirements

• Higher education degree in a financial field
• Preferably, initial experience as a controller or within audit
• Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is a strong asset
• Critical and proactive mindset; not afraid to challenge the status quo
• Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to separate key issues from less relevant details
