Elia Group offers an exciting Contract Manager Flexibility & Ancillary Services role in Brussels, with hybrid work. You will draft and refine contracts for balancing and ancillary services, aligning with Belgian and European rules, while coordinating with product leads, technical teams and regulators.

Your expertise will guide procurement alignment with evolving system needs and regulations. You will also nurture relationships with market stakeholders and help develop new flexibility products,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law or a technical/engineering field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in energy, regulated environments or contract management.
• Knowledge of electricity markets, ancillary services or balancing mechanisms is a strong asset.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear contract language and negotiate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Draft, update and optimise contracts for ancillary and flexibility services.
• Translate operational needs into contractual terms aligned with regulations.
• Prepare documentation for public consultations and regulator approvals.
• Maintain relationships with BRPs, BSPs, producers, consumers and aggregators.
• Contribute to development of new flexibility products and sourcing strategies.
