Wlgroup in Belgium is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to bridge development and infrastructure, ensuring production readiness of applications on a Kubernetes-based platform.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, provision hybrid infrastructure as code, and implement monitoring and security controls across environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps, hands-on Kubernetes/Rancher, and strong scripting with Terraform and Ansible, plus English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in DevOps or automated platform management
• Hands‑on Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2 and Docker administration
• CI/CD and GitOps with GitLab, ArgoCD or Jenkins, and solid version control habits
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, configuration automation with Ansible
• VMware plus at least one of Azure, AWS or GCP
• Bash or Python scripting, and Prometheus, Grafana and ELK for observability
• A track record of delivering across teams in fast‑moving Agile settings, and professional English

• Putting monitoring, logging and alerting in place so the platform stays reliable and fast
• Building security and compliance controls into the pipelines and configurations themselves
• Untangling hard integration and deployment problems across several agile teams

A multinational defence organisation in Braine-l'Alleud runs its applications on a Rancher-managed Kubernetes platform across its own data centres and the cloud. It needs an engineer who sits between the development teams and the infrastructure, and makes the path to production short, automated and safe. Fully on site.

What you would be doing
