A global consulting leader is seeking a Functional Analyst in Brussels to drive innovation in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will transform business needs into functional designs, guide technical teams, and ensure client-focused solutions. The role requires at least 7 years of consulting experience, fluency in English and Dutch, and familiarity with agile project management tools. Qualifications

• At least 7 years of consulting expertise, ideally in financial services or technology-led industries.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory; French is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of UML and BPMN methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret code.
• Experience building and managing test scenarios and exposure to APIs.

What Will You Do?

Responsibilities

• Translating Business Needs: Interpret business requirements into functional designs that align with project objectives.
• Aligning Teams: Guide technical teams to ensure clear understanding and execution of functionalities.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop detailed test scenarios and support testers during testing phases to ensure seamless delivery.
• Client‑Focused Solutions: Ensure all solutions are designed with a deep focus on meeting internal or external client requirements.

What You’ll Need To Flourish In This Role

Experience & Skills

• Experience: At least 7 years of Consulting expertise, ideally in financial services or technology‑led industries.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory (French is an advantage).

Technical Know‑How

• Solid knowledge of UML and BPMN methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret code.
• Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Testing & APIs: Experience building and managing test scenarios and exposure to APIs (knowledge of APIs is a plus).
• Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with cloud management tools.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution.
