Solvay in Belgium is seeking a Consolidation Specialist who will join the Consolidation team within Corporate Finance. You will manage monthly consolidation, prepare external reporting, ensure IFRS compliance, and support the M&A analytics in close cooperation with Group Reporting.

The role requires a Master’s in Accounting/Finance, experience in multinational settings, IFRS understanding, SAP BFC or Group Reporting knowledge, and fluent English (French a plus).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or business economics, CPA a plus.
• Relevant multinational accounting/finance experience.
• Strong consolidation process knowledge and IFRS expertise.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

You will get the opportunity to contribute to Solvay’s financial health and have a positive impact on our financial transparency.You will be accountable for:The consolidation of Solvay results prepared on a monthly basis to provide timely insight into the business performance to the Executive Leadership Team;The preparation of the Solvay external financial reporting for all the Group’s financial stakeholders, published on a quarterly basis, including the Annual Integrated Report;Compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements;The analysis of the Group’s portfolio movements and the simulation of the related impacts on the Group financials in close cooperation with the M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) department;Maintaining and monitoring relevant internal controls applicable to the consolidation processWe offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.About youOur ideal candidate is a team player with internal customer focus. Proven experience and skills needed:Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or business economics; CPA is a plus. While the primary location (Belgium) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 70.000€ to 80.000€, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
