Our client is a European association based in Brussels, representing transmission system operators across the continent. They play a central role in shaping Europe’s energy transition and building the world’s largest integrated electricity market.

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join their People, Talent & Culture team. This role will focus on developing and managing compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting HR strategy across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits policies and projects.
  • Conduct benchmarking, analysis, and reporting to support HR decision-making.
  • Oversee benefits administration (cafeteria plan, insurances, bonus schemes).
  • Ensure compliance with Belgian labour laws and other regulations.
  • Partner with HR colleagues on reward strategy, L&D, recruitment, and well-being.
  • Act as point of contact for employees on complex C&B questions.

Profile

  • Degree in HR, Finance, Economics, or similar.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits, with knowledge of Belgian labour market.
  • Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel required (Power BI is a plus).
  • Project management skills, proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English plus French and/or Dutch.
