Job summary

UCB is seeking a collaborative CMC Dev QMS Compliance Lead in our Belgium office to drive quality and compliance across pharmaceutical development. You’ll oversee QMS lifecycle, support audits, and partner with QA, Process Excellence and cross-functional teams to promote patient safety and robust data.

The role emphasizes leadership, data integrity, and the continuous improvement of quality systems in a global, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, quality or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement the pharmaceutical development quality and compliance roadmap, ensuring priorities are translated into clear and sustainable actions.
• Lead cross-functional quality projects and improvement initiatives in partnership with Quality Assurance, department leaders and subject-matter experts.
• Support the lifecycle management and implementation of QMS processes, SOPs and related change controls across CMC Development.
• Define, monitor and maintain meaningful performance indicators for quality management and compliance.
• Align data integrity processes and systems while supporting consistent corporate standards and operating procedures.
• Prepare for quality and business-process audits, contribute during inspections and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
• Simplify compliance processes and systems in collaboration with Process Excellence colleagues and other cross-functional partners.
