Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to design secure, scalable cloud solutions that empower a global business. You will work at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and business enablement, guiding teams to adopt sound cloud designs and promoted patterns in practice.

Located in Kontich (Belgium) or Prague (Czech Republic), this hybrid role requires collaboration, influence, and hands-on expertise across cloud infrastructure, security, and platform engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing cloud solutions in a medium to large enterprise.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, and Azure service models.
• Hands-on knowledge of landing zones, identity and access management, networking, and platform engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, automation, infrastructure as code, FinOps, DevOps, SRE, or related disciplines.
• Experience balancing business needs, technical requirements, and operational considerations.
• Experience working with strategic partners and vendors in a collaborative, outcome-oriented way.
• Relevant cloud certifications are an advantage, but demonstrated experience matters more.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect who combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, collaborative approach. You will design sound solutions, explain the trade-offs, and help teams adopt them with confidence.

Working at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and business enablement, you will shape cloud designs and ensure that promoted patterns work in practice.

Experience And Knowledge

• Hands-on knowledge of landing zones, identity and access management, networking, and platform engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, security, automation, infrastructure as code, FinOps, DevOps, SRE, or related disciplines.
• Experience balancing business needs, technical requirements, and operational considerations.
• Experience working with strategic partners and vendors in a collaborative and outcome-oriented way.
• Relevant cloud certifications are an advantage, but demonstrated experience matters more.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our offices in Kontich (Belgium) or in Prague (Czech Republic)
