Barco Labs in Kortrijk, Belgium, invites a Bachelor or Master student to an Internship in Cloud & Platform Engineering: Portable Deployment Solutions. You will explore packaging cloud-native software for local deployment, from development environments to customer demonstrations and field deployments.

You will design proof-of-concept deployments, benchmark performance, and evaluate hardware options from ARM-based edge devices to GPU workstations, working with Barco Labs engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics-ICT, Cloud Computing, or related field.
• Strong Python or scripting language skills.
• Interest in cloud computing, distributed systems, and software infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux and Docker recommended.
• Git (GitHub) experience and collaborative development.
• Experience with LLM in development is a plus.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsabilités

• Explore portable deployment architectures for a cloud-native image analysis platform.
• Design proof-of-concept deployments and benchmark performance.
• Evaluate hardware options from ARM edge devices to GPU workstations.
• Collaborate with Barco Labs team on deployment automation and containers.
• Contribute to development, demo and field-use scenarios.
