Responsibilities
- Design and implement a cloud-based data analytics platform for the HR Family services, including data lakes, data warehouses, data visualization tools etc.
- Analyse the current on-prem data analytics platform and design the transition strategy to the cloud target platform.
- Manage the migration from on-prem to cloud
- Contribute to the design of HR Family Enterprise Architecture, with focus on data.
- Design, develop and maintain ELT processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration from multiple sources.
- Deploy data analytics platform infrastructure
- Create and maintain data marts and dimensional model, and the logic to keep these updated.
- Implement best practices to ensure the integrity of data
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of the data warehouse environment
- Develop and maintain data models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
- Mentor technical staff and bring them up to date with the data analytics platform tools and technologies
- Participate in technical and business meetings with IT and business stakeholders to identify data needs, clarify requirements, and design solutions
- Create and govern platform documentation including architecture, technical requirements,specifications, system design
What you need to succeed
- Master Degree + 15 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 7 years with public cloud environments and technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
- At least 3 years with a broader range of cloud environments and technologies, including Databricks, Cloudera, Hadoop.
- At least 5 years of data analytics and services (Data Lakes, Machine Learning, Data Warehouses, Business Intelligence).
At least 2 years in:
- Designing cloud architectures including containers, high availability solutions, cloud, serverless compute, infrastructure as code.
- Designing DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines (including with Azure DevOps).
- Implementing data catalogue solutions (Including Microsoft Purview)
- Designing and implementing secure data-oriented solutions in public cloud including customer managed encryption keys for sensitive non-classified data (Azure Key Vault)
Experience in:
- Migrating to and building native cloud infrastructures.
- Implementing real-time data processing using Kafka
The following certificate is required for the performance of tasks:
- Microsoft Azure cloud certifications – basic and intermediate levels (e.g. Azure Data Fundamentals, Implementing an Azure Data Solution etc.).
In-depth knowledge of:
- Micro-services / functional architecture design, development, deployment, and instrumentation in Microsoft Azure.
- Secure application design and development in Azure.
- Network architecture, network security and TCP/IP, network virtualization and/or software defined networks
- Cloud and on-prem business intelligence reporting tools (Microsoft PowerBI, QlikSense)
- Data warehouse design & architecture
- Good knowledge of data modelling tools
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies in the Business Intelligence domain
- Experience with the European Institution corporate cloud and data architectures and infrastructureare considered a plus.
- Experience in working in Agile/Sprint is considered a plus.
- The AWS data engineer certificate is regarded as a plus for the performance of tasks
- Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1/C2)
