Templeton & Partners - Innovative & Inclusive Hiring Solutions is seeking a Senior Azure Solutions Architect / Process Orchestration Specialist to join its Competence Center for Inbound & Workflow. The role blends analysis, architecture, design and hands-on implementation in live production environments.

You will design end-to-end workflows, orchestrate tasks, and integrate systems through REST/SOAP APIs, while ensuring maintainability and scalability of processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with workflow orchestration and case management in enterprise environments.
• Strong BPMN modelling skills with emphasis on clarity and maintainability.
• Experience designing end-to-end business processes, including long-running cross-system workflows.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API integration.
• Experience in CI/CD environments, e.g., Azure DevOps or similar.
• Comfortable supporting and optimizing production solutions.
• Senior-level delivery mindset with pragmatic approach.

Our client is looking for a Senior Azure Solutions Architect / Process Orchestration Specialist to join its Competence Center for Inbound & Workflow.

The team designs and evolves workflow and case management solutions supporting business-critical operational processes in a live production environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move comfortably between analysis, architecture, design and implementation.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end workflow and case management solutions using BPMN-based approaches
• Orchestrate human tasks and automated process steps within long-running, production-grade workflows
• Help migrate and consolidate fragmented legacy processes into centralized orchestration models
• Integrate internal back-office systems and external services through REST/SOAP APIs and other integration patterns
• Design robust exception handling, retry/reprocessing strategies and operational resilience
• Ensure workflow models are clear, traceable, maintainable and scalable
• Support releases, monitoring and continuous improvement in a production environment
• Contribute to modernization initiatives involving workflow engines, automation and, where relevant, AI-enabled services

What we’re looking for

Required:

• Proven experience with workflow orchestration and case management in enterprise environments
• Strong BPMN modelling skills, with a focus on clarity, maintainability and traceability
• Experience designing end-to-end business processes, including long-running and cross-system workflows
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API integration
• Experience working in CI/CD environments, such as Azure DevOps or similar
• Comfortable supporting and optimizing solutions in production
• Senior-level experience with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience in insurance or financial services
• Familiarity with data modelling and SQL
• Experience with workflow or low-code platforms for digital process automation

The client values continuous learning and development. Formal certifications are not mandatory, but an interest in strengthening expertise in the following areas is highly valued:

• Enterprise architecture and modelling, such as TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar
• Azure architecture, with progression towards Azure Solutions Architect Expert / AZ-305
• Azure services including App Services, Functions, Storage and API Management
• Identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• DevOps maturity, governance and operational excellence

Language

• English: Very good written and spoken knowledge
• Dutch- Native or near native
