V-IT NV is seeking a Senior IT Integration & Application Analyst to join the EAI Integration Team in Brussels. You will design, document and evolve links and APIs between SAP SuccessFactors, Dynamics 365, TRAX and PPM within a hybrid Microsoft Azure environment.

You will gather requirements, model integration flows, define REST and SOAP APIs, and ensure documentation and acceptance criteria are up to date while collaborating with architects, dev teams and business users in a multi-platform

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in functional and technical analysis of integration solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs; JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, OpenAPI/Swagger and OData.
• Modeling workflows, data and use cases with UML, BPMN or ArchiMate.
• End-to-end analysis for UI / screens and backend services.
• Security knowledge for interfaces (authentication, authorization, OAuth, secrets, roles).
• Experience with integration testing and incident analysis.

Responsabilités

For 1 of our clients we are looking for a Senior IT Integration & Application Analyst.

Within the EAI Integration Team (T-TNM) you work at the intersection of business needs and advanced IT architecture. You help design, document and evolve the links and APIs between complex platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Dynamics 365, TRAX and PPM within a hybrid Microsoft Azure environment.

Regime: Fulltime of which 2 days in the office
Location: Brussels (Near Brussels South)
Languages: Dutch and / or French (with passive knowledge of the second national language) and English

What are you going to do?

• Requirements & Analysis: Collection, clarification and formalization of business and technical needs for data exchange between source and target systems.
• Application & Integration design: Modeling of integration flows (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate) and drawing up functional and technical specifications for both frontend and backend components (screens, user journeys, validations, data models, API interactions).
• API & Interface Specifications: Defining REST and SOAP APIs (endpoints, mappings, contracts, error handling, security and authentication).
• Documentation & Standards: Ensure current documentation, diagrams, conventions and acceptance criteria.
• Collaboration & Testing: Working closely with architects, dev teams and business users. Setting up and performing functional & integration tests (including with Postman) and analyzing incidents.

Required experience & qualities (Must Haves):

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in functional and technical analysis of integration solutions (total 10-14 years of IT / Analysis experience is a plus).
• Integration patterns: Thorough knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous exchanges, orchestration, routing, transformation and error handling.
• API Specification & Standards: Experience with REST and SOAP APIs. Thorough knowledge of JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, OpenAPI / Swagger and OData.
• Modeling & Design: Proven experience with modeling workflows, data and use cases via UML, BPMN or ArchiMate.
• E2E Analysis (Frontend + Backend): Drawing up specifications for UI / screens, validations and backend services.
• Security: Knowledge of interface security (authentication, authorization, OAuth, secrets management, roles).
• Testing: Experience with integration testing and incident analysis.

Desired Knowledge (Nice to Haves):

• Microsoft Azure Integration Services: Knowledge of API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus and monitoring.
• Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps (requirements / stories / testing), Postman (API testing) and modeling tools (such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm or Archi).
• Domain Knowledge & Environments: Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft Dynamics 365, PPM / Project Online.
• Data & SQL: Basic knowledge of SQL for analyzing databases, logs and integration messages.
• Methodology & Certificates: Knowledge of CI / CD, application architecture, UX / UI principles and / or an ISTQB Foundation certificate.
