Job summary

Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment partners with an international insurer to recruit a Claims Specialist Engineering & Construction in Belgium. You will manage engineering, construction and professional liability claims from notification to settlement, liaising with brokers, clients, experts and legal advisors to deliver timely resolutions.

The role requires a university degree related field, Dutch fluency with English, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering/architecture/construction/insurance.
• Affinity with construction techniques, engineering projects or technical risks.
• Fluent in Dutch with good command of English; French is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

To strengthen its Belgian claims team, we are looking for a Claims Specialist Engineering & Construction. In this role, you will manage technical and construction-related claims, working closely with brokers, clients, experts and legal advisors to deliver efficient and high-quality claim resolutions.

Responsibilities

The Candidate

• University degree, ideally in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Insurance or a related field.
• Affinity with construction techniques, engineering projects or technical risks.
• First professional experience in insurance, engineering, construction or claims is an asset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch with a good command of English; French is a plus.
• Proactive, organised and eager to further develop technical expertise.
