• Proven track record as Enterprise/Chief Architect.
• Experience in large-scale banking/regulatory contexts.
• Leadership in complex matrix organizations.

• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• TOGAF/ArchiMate certifications are a plus.

Tech Strategy & Enterprise Architecture

We are seeking an experienced Chief Architect to lead and shape the enterprise architecture vision within a large-scale, highly regulated financial environment operating across the Netherlands & Belgium.

In this strategic leadership role, you will define the target architecture, drive digital transformation, and lead architectural governance across complex business and technology domains. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, engineering leadership, and architecture communities to align technology strategy with business goals and regulatory requirements.

• Define and drive enterprise target architecture
• Translate strategy into architectural roadmaps
• Lead transformation, simplification, and technical debt reduction initiatives
• Govern cloud, platform, integration, and security architecture
• Align architecture across domains, tribes, and business units
• Lead and develop a high-performing architecture community
• Support executive decision-making on technology strategy and investments

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect or Chief/Lead Architect
• Strong background within large-scale banking or regulated environments
• Proven leadership experience within complex matrix organizations
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud, integration, infrastructure, and security
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• TOGAF / ArchiMate certifications are a plus
