ING Belgium is seeking a Chapter Lead Engineer for Global Signing within EC&A BE. You will shape a multidisciplinary chapter, develop talent, and enable dependable delivery across squads while aligning priorities with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes ownership, quality, and operational stability to support the Global Signing product. You will lead engineers, foster an inclusive culture, and ensure delivery plans balance regulatory, platform, and technical debt needs.

Qualifications

Proven people leadership in software engineering.
Experience coordinating delivery across multiple squads.
Strong stakeholder management and alignment across org boundaries.
Solid software engineering background supporting coaching and delivery decisions.
Practical understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architecture, DevOps, resilience and security.

Responsabilités

Lead and develop engineers through clear expectations, recognition and growth opportunities.
Turn priorities into clear capacity, staffing, and delivery plans across squads.
Align product, architecture and delivery with leads to remove impediments.
Develop skills for secure, compliant, reliable, and maintainable signing services.
Promote automation, observability, resilience, and security-by-design in the chapter.
