This unpaid internship at Cercle Brugge KSV, reporting to the clubs Lead Performance Analyst, will be supporting the analysis processes within the First Team. The role will be based at Cercle’s training ground and is an excellent opportunity to work at a vibrant and continuously growing football organization.

Responsibilities

First Team Analysis

  • Assisting with the first teams pre game preparations; creating content for the opposition dossier.
  • Collecting video on opposition to put into videos for individual players prior to each game.
  • Supporting in updating video databases on best practice (team and individual), playing philosophy, set pieces and goals.
  • Filming of games and training using automatic & manual equipment.
  • Research and distributing team news on upcoming opposition.
  • When necessary, providing match day analysis support at home games.
  • Any other ad-hoc requests required by the performance analysis department.
Skills
Essential
  • Able to speak English.
  • A good game understanding of football and the ability to find visual examples of both tactical and technical content within match and training footage.
  • Comfortable working with an Apple operating system.
  • Have a professional, proactive, and innovative approach to work.
  • To be organised, enthusiastic, reliable, and committed.
  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Desirable
  • Prior experience producing and editing videos.
  • Experience filming football matches.
  • Experience filming matches and training sessions using a drone.
