Bleckmann België N.V. invites you to join as Carrier Management Specialist, supporting execution of carrier strategy for an assigned portfolio. You’ll evaluate carriers, manage performance, support sourcing and provide expertise to internal stakeholders.

With a Bachelor's or Master’s in Logistics and at least 5 years in transport or carrier management, you’ll analyze data, lead negotiations, and drive improvements across operations, pricing, and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, carrier management, logistics sourcing or related field.
• Strong understanding of transportation services, carrier operating models and performance management.
• Experience evaluating carrier proposals, service models and commercial agreements.
• Ability to analyse operational and commercial data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across operational, commercial and support functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within defined governance frameworks.
• Good understanding of supply chain, fulfilment and transport operations.

Responsabilités

• Manage an assigned portfolio of carriers and act as primary contact for operational and commercial follow-up.
• Evaluate carrier performance against service levels, cost targets, operational requirements and sustainability objectives; coordinate improvements.
• Support carrier sourcing and selection by identifying potential carriers, collecting proposals, and evaluating them.
• Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations within approved boundaries and frameworks.
• Provide carrier-related expertise to internal stakeholders such as Transport Solutions, Pricing, Service Delivery, Operations and Business Development.
• Monitor transport market developments and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Support implementation and maintenance of carrier-related processes, governance, and reporting structures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve transport cost efficiency, delivery performance, carrier quality and customer experience.
