MSD Belgium's External Affairs team is seeking a policy-focused professional to advance cardiovascular health in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will monitor developments, support advocacy initiatives, and build relationships with policymakers, healthcare professionals and patient organisations.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in science, pharmacy, medicine or health economics with strong interest in health care policy and advocacy environment.
• A degree in law, political science, economics/finance is an asset.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a health authority or governmental body.

Aufgaben

• Develop understanding of healthcare, policy and stakeholder ecosystems in Belgium and Luxembourg with focus on cardiovascular health.
• Monitor policy developments and stakeholder priorities in cardiovascular health.
• Support development and implementation of policy and advocacy initiatives to improve cardiovascular health and patient access.
• Contribute to relationships with policymakers, healthcare professionals, patient organisations and scientific societies.
• Support participation in BACH and other associations, policy forums and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and share external insights with colleagues.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, External Affairs and regional/global teams to ensure alignment.
• Participate in broader healthcare and public policy projects beyond cardiovascular health.
