Job summary

MSD Belgium seeks a Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist to cover Belgium and Luxembourg. The role focuses on day-to-day PV activities, local procedures, and ensuring PV compliance across functions.

You will interact with Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trial Operations and report to the BeNeLux PV leadership. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s in health or regulatory fields with 2+ years in PV/regulatory affairs, fluency in Dutch or French, and strong data-driven problem-solving

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in health, life science or regulatory affairs.
• Minimum 2 years in pharmacovigilance or regulatory affairs in pharma or related settings.
• Knowledge of PV regulations in Belgium and Luxembourg; PV audits/inspections experience preferred.
• Fluency in French or Dutch; Dutch preferred; some knowledge of the second language desirable.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and use data to drive decisions.
• Experience with MS Office and related IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day PV activities as delegated or assigned by the manager.
• Develop local PV procedures in line with regional standards to ensure high-quality PV data and processes.
• Interface with Clinical Trial Operations and Regulatory Affairs to align PV issues.
• Support local initiatives and programs to ensure PV compliance; serve as local Health Authority contact when assigned.
• Report to the Director PV Cluster Lead BeNeLux / PV Lead BeLux.
