MSI Pharma is seeking a Project Financial Partner to provide financial oversight and strategic support across a portfolio of major capital investment projects. The role collaborates with Engineering, Project Management and Finance to drive performance through robust cost control, risk management and comprehensive financial reporting in a dynamic CAPEX environment.

The position requires experience in project controlling, budgeting and variance analysis, with SAP and ERP systems as advantages.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost control for large-scale capital investment projects.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of project financial governance and CAPEX reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; French is a strong advantage.

Responsabilités

Overview

We are supporting a global biopharma for a Project Financial Partner to provide financial oversight and strategic support across a portfolio of major capital investment projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring sound financial governance, accurate forecasting and effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management and Finance stakeholders, the successful candidate will help drive project performance by delivering robust cost control, risk management and financial reporting within a complex and dynamic CAPEX environment.

Requirements

• Support the development and ongoing management of project budgets, forecasts and long-range financial plans.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, cash flow and variances against approved financial baselines.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to project teams and governance boards.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations and escalation where required.
• Provide financial guidance and challenge to project stakeholders to support informed investment decisions.

Hard Skills

• Experience in project controlling, cost control or financial management of large-scale capital investment projects.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of project financial governance, internal controls and CAPEX reporting requirements.
• Experience working with ERP and project management systems, with SAP experience considered advantageous.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting financial management activities within complex project or investment environments.
• Experience providing financial oversight, cost control and performance reporting for cross-functional projects.
• Fluency in English is required, with French considered a strong advantage.
• Experience operating within a regulated or multinational organisation would be highly beneficial.
