Wlgroup relocation to Norfolk, VA is sought for a senior programme manager to support electromagnetic operations capability development. The role covers requirements through doctrine and validation, with coordination across agencies and nations to ensure alignment.

The candidate will hold a master degree or equivalent, have 3 of the last 10 years briefing senior leaders, 5 years in EM ops at tactical or joint level, and 2 of the last 10 in programme management within a multinational defence

Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent military qualification in engineering, information systems, computer science or PM.
• At least three of the last ten years briefing senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Five years of operational knowledge of electromagnetic operations or warfare at tactical or joint level.
• At least two of the last ten years in programme or project management in a complex environment.
• At least two of the last ten years in a multinational defence organisation.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsabilités

• Support development of capability products in this area under alliance governance.
• Back the programme director and project coordinators, including work with agencies and nations.
• Draw out, capture, analyse and trace requirements at every level.
• Develop and review the doctrinal corpus — policies, doctrine, directives, concepts of operation.
• Coordinate across lines of development and propose actions where they conflict.
• Organise and participate in workshops, seminars and conferences.
• Collaborate with national and international organisations, centres of excellence and academia.
• Maintain programme status information and support capability validation.
• Identify lessons and best practice and ensure learning.

A multinational defence organisation is rebuilding its electromagnetic operations and warfare capability. This role supports the programme that delivers it, from requirements through to doctrine and validation.

What you would be doing

• Supporting the development of capability products in this area under the alliance governance model.
• Supporting the programme director and project coordinators, including work with agencies and nations.
