Expleo Group, located in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to create and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings using PTC Creo. The role includes collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

CAD Design & Product Development

• Create and maintain complex 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using PTC Creo.
• Develop parametric models and design solutions in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards.
• Perform design modifications, updates, and optimizations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure all CAD data is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards and industry regulations.
• Generate manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.

Engineering Support

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams to develop effective design solutions.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Conduct design reviews and recommend improvements related to functionality, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for design‑related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience using PTC Creo in a professional engineering environment.
• Proven experience designing complex mechanical components and assemblies.
• Experience with engineering change management and product lifecycle management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PTC Windchill.
• Knowledge of simulation and analysis tools within Creo.
• Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or industry‑specific engineering standards.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or industrial equipment.
