Expleo is seeking an experienced CAD Design Engineer for its team in Sint-Truiden, Belgium. The ideal candidate will create complex 3D models and manage engineering drawings, leveraging their expertise with PTC Creo and collaborating across various teams to achieve innovative solutions.

With at least 3 years of experience, the successful candidate will ensure design compliance with industry standards and participate actively in product development phases, contributing to project success and efficiency.

• Proven experience designing complex mechanical components and assemblies.
• Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or industry-specific engineering standards.

Responsibilities

CAD Design & Product Development

• Create and maintain complex 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using PTC Creo.
• Develop parametric models and design solutions in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards.
• Perform design modifications, updates, and optimizations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure all CAD data is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards and industry regulations.
• Generate manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.

Engineering Support

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams to develop effective design solutions.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Conduct design reviews and recommend improvements related to functionality, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for design-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience using PTC Creo in a professional engineering environment.
• Proven experience designing complex mechanical components and assemblies.
• Experience with engineering change management and product lifecycle management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PTC Windchill.
• Knowledge of simulation and analysis tools within Creo.
• Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or industry-specific engineering standards.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or industrial equipment.
