About Van de Velde

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely ordering of raw materials and other items for the brands Marie Jo, Primadonna and Sarda, for both sample and production needs.
• Enter orders accurately into the ERP system.
• Manage and maintain product and supplier data in the ERP package.
• Monitor delivery deadlines, ensuring on‑time and in‑full supply of 100 % quality materials and items.
• Follow up on any delays and maintain quality.
• Collaborate closely with material engineers, planning, quality and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience. Purchasing experience is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and able to prioritise.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable contacting suppliers about scheduling and quality.
• Customer focused, resilient and adaptable to change.
• Comfortable working with numbers and Excel; willing to learn the ERP system (M3).
• Works well independently and in a team, both within and outside the department.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
