South Pole in Brussels is seeking a Governance & Risk Admin Assistant to support the Chief Risk Officer and the Risk team. You will streamline governance, administer meetings, and help embed digital solutions across the department.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree in business or a related field, enjoy workflow automation, and excel at organizing data, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Support the CRO and Risk leadership with day-to-day administration (meetings, minutes, follow-up).
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate risk workflows.
• Build and maintain workflow automations, dashboards, and status-tracking tools (AI).
• Assist with testing and data migration of new tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and track KPIs.
• Support additional administrative and process-improvement tasks as needed.

The role

You will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the broader Risk team to ensure operational efficiency, strong governance, and seamless cross-functional execution. In this role, you will combine governance administration with workflow automation, optimizing risk management processes and embedding digital solutions across the department. You will have the opportunity to work alongside executive leadership, driving operational excellence to ensure South Pole's risk frameworks and quality standards run efficiently.

What you'll do

• Support the CRO and Risk leadership team with day-to-day administration, including meeting preparation, agenda setting, minutes tracking, and follow-up on action items.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual risk workflows, standardising governance and internal operational processes.

• Build and maintain workflow automations, project dashboards, and status-tracking tools using AI.

• Support the team in adopting new tools, including testing and data migration activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders to gather relevant data, track key performance metrics, and ensure alignment on risk deliverables.

• Support additional administrative, analytical, and process enhancement tasks as needed by the CRO to drive functional efficiency.

What we're looking for

• University degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong interest or practical experience in workflow automation, process mapping, and low-code/no-code tools.

• High organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, structure, and administrative consistency.

• Ability to handle confidential governance data with high discretion and professionalism.

• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of additional European languages (e.g., Spanish) is an asset.
