With solid experience in the process industry and automation, particularly in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Lifecycle Services, and Software Solutions, you will be responsible for driving business growth with both existing customers and new prospects. This role focuses on leading business development efforts across major industries, with a strong emphasis on Emerson's flagship DeltaV DCS platform. Responsibilities
  • Generating new business opportunities by visiting customers, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that contribute to their operations.
  • Gathering customer insights and collaborating with internal teams to develop a project-based approach in coordination with our consultants.
  • Aligning with sales leadership to define focus areas and implement a prioritized strategic business development plan.
  • Providing technical support to both internal and external customers when needed, and coordinating with subject matter experts to ensure effective solutions.
  • Leading and supporting sales initiatives while representing Emerson at industry events and conferences as a professional brand ambassador.

For This Role, You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales / business development experience in a B2B technical environment
  • Background in industrial automation /process industries
  • Affinity towards technology and innovations and technical understanding, ideally DCS systems
  • CRM & MS Office tools
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English language is essential
  • Availability to frequently travel in the assigned territory and occasionally in Europe
  • Driving license
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart
  • Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one major Industry such as chemical, pharma, petrochemical, oil&gas or similar
