Pensaert & Partners BV in Belgium seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth in solar energy and energy storage. You will actively prospect, build and manage your own sales pipeline from first contact to closing, and lead pitches and negotiations to secure final awards.

You will initiate commercial actions, ensure a smooth handover to the project department, and report on pipeline progress and results.

Responsabilités

• Prospect actively and identify new customers and business opportunities within the Belgian market via networking events and sector developments
• Build and manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact, through customised proposals, to closing
• Lead pitches and negotiations through to final award
• Initiate commercial activities (prospecting, events, lead generation)
• Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to the project department
• Report on your pipeline, progress and commercial results
• Collaborate closely with Engineers to translate commercial strategy into concrete growth initiatives
• Report directly to the CCO and be part of the European commercial team

Wat ga je doen?

• Je prospecteert actief en spoort zelf nieuwe klanten en zakelijke kansen op binnen de Belgische markt via netwerkbijeenkomsten en sectorontwikkelingen
• Je bouwt en beheert je eigen sales pipeline: van eerste klantcontact, over voorstel op maat, tot closing
• Je leidt pitches en onderhandelingen tot en met final award
• Je zet zelf commerciële acties op (prospectie, events, leadgeneratie)
• Je zorgt voor een vlotte overdracht van gesloten deals naar de projectafdeling
• Je rapporteert over je pipeline, voortgang en commerciële resultaten
• Je werkt nauw samen met de Engineers om de commerciële strategie te vertalen naar concrete groei-initiatieven
• Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CCO en maakt deel uit van het Europese commerciële team
