Job summary

Sander Brussels, an international media group, is seeking an experienced Business Controller to join the Vilvoorde Finance team. You will own operational finance tasks, drive reporting and partner with Sales, Marketing and operations to enable data-driven decisions.

You will consolidate Belgian and Group reporting, analyze variances, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and process improvements in a collaborative, flat-structure environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, reporting, financial analysis and/or audit.
• Experience in an in-house Finance environment is important (audit-only background is not enough).
• Solid understanding of accounting and ability to connect figures with business analysis.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate financial reporting at both Belgian and Group level.
• Analyze financial results, variances and main business drivers.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor and analyze investments and CAPEX.
• Gather and challenge financial information from departments.
• Act as Finance Business Partner for Sales, Marketing and operations.
• Prepare financial analyses and ad hoc reports for local business and Group.
• Contribute to audits and improve Finance processes.
