Apleona Belgium is seeking a Business Controller to join the Finance team and drive performance management across the business. You will provide analysis, budgeting, reporting, and decision-support to help operations and management.

You'll monitor costs, revenues, margins, and key indicators, partner with operational teams and stakeholders, and contribute to month-end and ad hoc financial analysis. Fluency in English, Dutch and French is required in this international role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field.
• Experience in business controlling, financial analysis, management reporting, or a similar finance role.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, KPIs, forecasts, and budget follow-up
• Support budgeting and forecasting with finance and operational stakeholders
• Monitor revenues, costs, margins and variances, flag risks and opportunities to management
• Provide financial insight and business support to operational teams
• Contribute to month-end, periodic, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Drive financial planning, cost control and performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure clarity and reliability of financial reporting
• Support business cases, commercial reviews, and management presentations
• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect, validate, and interpret financial and operational data

Are you an analytical finance professional who enjoys turning numbers into insight? Apleona Belgium is looking for a Business Controller to join our Finance team and support performance management across the business.

About the role

As Business Controller, you'll provide the analysis, reporting, budgeting, and decision-support that helps the business perform. You'll monitor costs, revenues, margins, and key indicators, and act as a trusted financial partner to operational teams and management.

What you'll do

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, KPIs, forecasts, and budget follow-up
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process with finance and operational stakeholders
• Monitor revenues, costs, margins, and variances, flagging risks and opportunities to management
• Provide financial insight and business support to operational teams
• Contribute to month-end, periodic, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Drive financial planning, cost control, and performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure the consistency, reliability, and clarity of financial reporting
• Support business cases, commercial reviews, and management presentations
• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect, validate, and interpret financial and operational data

What we're looking for

• Experience in business controlling, financial analysis, management reporting, or a similar finance role
• A strong analytical mindset and structured approach to problem-solving
• Ability to read operational performance through a financial lens
• Clear, confident communication skills, able to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders
• Fluency in English, Dutch, and French
• Experience working in an international matrix organization
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial/reporting systems

Reporting to:

Finance Director

You'll work closely with finance teams, operational managers, account leaders, procurement, HR, and commercial stakeholders -plus occasional contact with auditors, consultants, and clients.
