Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a Business Analyst (Information Technology/Software) to join a development team in Brussels, Belgium. The role involves close collaboration with a major client’s IT team on site and requires strong English.

You will liaise with stakeholders, analyze needs, and contribute to Vision and Business Case documents. Full-time permanent position with onsite workplaces; EU candidates only due to security clearance.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT combined with 13 years of relevant IT professional experience.
• Experience in product scope definition and requirements elaboration, plus negotiation with business and IT actors; UML modelling knowledge.
• Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes.
• Good knowledge of iterative project management methodologies (e.g. Agile).
• Good knowledge of business analysis, modelling, tools and techniques (use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity relationship model).
• Ability to give business and technical presentations.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsabilités

Role Overview

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
