Sloka IT Solutions seeks a senior Business Analyst - Capital Markets to lead requirements gathering for settlement workflows, matching, confirmations, and exception handling. You will document business needs with use cases, process flows, and ER models, acting as a domain expert in trade lifecycle and cross-border settlement.

You will collaborate with operations, product, and IT teams to drive changes in settlement platforms, support UAT and regulatory updates, and ensure timely settlement

Qualifications

• Lead requirements gathering for settlement workflows, matching, confirmations, and exception handling.
• Analyse and document business needs using use case modelling, process flows, ER modelling, and functional specifications.
• Act as a domain expert in trade lifecycle, securities settlement, T2S, DvP/FoP, and cross-border settlement mechanisms.
• Define, design, and validate change requests in settlement systems and downstream processes.
• Drive product evolution across market links, T+1 initiatives, business resilience, and platform enhancements.
• Work closely with operational teams, Product Managers, Group Business Solutions (GBS), custodians, clearing houses, and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Coordinate across business and technical domains to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Investigate settlement failures, unmatched trades, and reconciliation anomalies.
• Liaise with front office, custodians, and counterparties to ensure timely settlement.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), regression cycles, and readiness assessments for system enhancements or regulatory updates.
• Contribute to test scenario creation and validation.
