Alken-Maes, part of the HEINEKEN family, is seeking a Business Analyst to transform large volumes of commercial data into actionable insights. You will partner with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Data & Technology teams to shape decisions, improve performance and drive growth.

You will own reporting, KPI tracking, and stakeholder engagement, translating data into actionable business language while identifying opportunities to automate and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus; data modelling experience is a plus.

As a Business Analyst you will play a key role in supporting our Out-of-Home (ontrade) business by transforming large amounts of commercial data into actionable insights. You will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Data & Technology teams to help shape commercial decisions, improve performance and drive growth. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transform large volumes of commercial and market data into actionable business insights that support decision-making across the Out-of-Home business.
• Analyze monthly sales volumes, channel performance and key commercial KPIs to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Consolidate and interpret data from multiple sources, including Salesforce, Excel and Power BI, translating complex information into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Own and continuously improve recurring reporting, dashboards and performance reviews, ensuring accurate and timely insights for the business.
• Calculate, develop, monitor and challenge KPIs across different sales channels and customer segments.
• Support monthly and quarterly business reviews, including performance analyses and sales incentive reporting.
• Act as the key link between commercial teams and Data & Technology, ensuring business needs are translated into meaningful reporting and insights.
• Partner closely with Sales Managers, National Sales Managers, Account Managers, Channel Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance and other stakeholders across the organization.
• Guide and support commercial teams in understanding reports, KPIs and business performance, helping them turn insights into action.
• Proactively identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve reporting processes and ways of working.
• Contribute to strategic projects, commercial initiatives and ad hoc analyses that drive business growth and performance.
• Take ownership of your analyses and recommendations, confidently challenging stakeholders when needed and ensuring follow-up actions are delivered.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience.
• You are a real data cruncher and excel in Excel, any other analysis tools such as PBI experience are a plus, data modelling experience albeit in excel or other tools are also considered a plus.
• You have strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge and influence others.
• You are a bright analytical thinker and problem solver with eye for detail.
• You have the ability to translate data insights clearly into understandable business language.
• You are flexible in changing environments.
• You are assertive and dare to speak up.
• You are proactive, curious and able to work autonomously. You take ownership of your work, know how to prioritize competing requests and confidently engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
• You have a good knowledge of English. Dutch or French is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Revenue Growth Management is considered a strong asset.
