Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Building Project Manager to oversee projects in the building construction sector, from office buildings to hospitals. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and coordinate scope, schedule, and budget to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will maintain client contacts, translate requirements into concepts with engineers and designers, ensure contracts are properly managed, and guide project handovers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; good working knowledge of French.
• Autonomous, proactive, well-organised and detail-oriented.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Project; driving licence category B.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall management and coordination of building projects.
• Maintain close contact with clients to understand needs and expectations.
• Translate client requirements into project concepts with cross-disciplinary experts.
• Ensure project scopes meet quality standards.
• Manage contracts and project administration, including budgeting and invoicing.
• Oversee planning and schedule control; monitor interfaces.
• Coordinate technical studies, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Support proposals and contract preparation; ensure successful handovers.
