Job summary

Rhox in Belgium is seeking a Natural and ADABAS developer to move data from BS2000 to Linux without disrupting ongoing processing. You will build extraction, transformation and replication components so both environments can run in parallel, keeping data synchronised.

You will analyze legacy programs and data flows, develop extraction and transformation modules, test reconciliations and document results. Fluency in French, Dutch and English (B2) will aid cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• BS2000 mainframe experience essential.
• Proficient in ADABAS on BS2000.
• Experience with Natural for BS2000 8.2.x or higher.
• Ability to interpret legacy code and incomplete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse legacy programs, jobs, objects and data flows.
• Develop modules for data extraction and transformation.
• Build replication between BS2000 and Linux without changing source processes.
• Test and reconcile source and target data for completeness and consistency.
• Detect missing records, duplicates and incorrect mappings or transformations.
• Document analyses, components, mappings, test results and corrective actions.
