Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL Group in Brussels invites an intern (m/f/x) for 4 months in Public Affairs, starting 01.09.2026. You will join the Brussels office to support analysis of European initiatives and draft position papers.

The role requires enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program, fluent English, good MS Office skills, and a proactive team player mindset. An additional EU language is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Compulsory internship/voluntary internship in a Bachelor's degree program, gap year or current Master's degree program (enrollment required).
• Excellent knowledge of English and another EU language is an advantage.
• Very good written communication skills and the ability to translate policy concepts into real results.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams.
• You enjoy dealing with different topics and do not hesitate to familiarize yourself with unfamiliar issues.
• You show initiative and can take on responsibility.
• Team player who thinks in terms of opportunities and solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will support the Public Affairs team in analyzing European legislative initiatives and positioning the company in the European political landscape.
• Assess the impact of European legislative initiatives on DHL Group.
• Communicating with European, national and third-party organizations as well as industry associations.
• Preparation of position papers on European initiatives affecting Deutsche Post DHL.
