Vivid Resourcing in Brussels is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join a long-term freelance mission. The role focuses on assessing current technology estate and maturing business requirements to shape future-state architectures across platforms and integrations.

You will work with Microsoft technologies and AWS in a mixed landscape, delivering strategic recommendations and roadmaps. The position requires on-site presence in Brussels initially, with increasing flexibility over time and

Qualifications

• Senior Enterprise Architect / Technology Architect with strong solution architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise and integration architecture.
• Experience defining migration strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Purview, MySQL, AWS; Oracle beneficial.
• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Strategist or equivalent business-facing tech leadership role desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assess existing business requirements and drive them towards implementation readiness.
• Assess the current enterprise and application landscape against business needs, constraints, and future requirements.
• Provide recommendations on build, buy, reuse, and retire decisions.
• Develop technology strategies and roadmaps for upcoming platform decisions and major platform transitions.
• Define migration strategies, sequencing, and phased delivery roadmaps while maintaining business continuity.
• Establish architectural guardrails for systems remaining on the legacy estate during transition.
• Validate architecture and technology recommendations with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Present recommendations and architectural decisions to senior management.
