Vivid Resourcing Ltd in Brussels is seeking a Data Modeller & Architect to establish a common data model, modelling approach and governance framework for a freelance engagement. The role involves consolidating independent data set-ups and defining standards to progress toward logical and physical modelling.

You will work with a small internal team, translate business needs into a unified model, and coach stakeholders on modelling practices while ensuring reporting requirements are addressed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Modeller/Data Architect focusing on conceptual/logical modelling.
• Proven ability to establish data modelling standards and governance.
• Experience moving from conceptual to logical/physical modelling.
• Experience on international projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of MySQL, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Assess and develop the existing conceptual data model.
• Translate business processes into a common data model.
• Define entities, relationships, attributes and definitions.
• Identify common data structures across areas and document variations.
• Establish modelling standards and governance processes.
• Define the roadmap to logical and physical modelling.
• Determine data architecture requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate the model.
• Coach internal team in data modelling and governance.
