A cozy hotel in Ghent is seeking a breakfast attendant to ensure guests start their day with a smile. As part of the team, you will manage the breakfast buffet and assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers a flexijob contract with around 6 hours per week and a competitive wage of €14.88/hour. Ideal candidates are service-oriented and available to work mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work under a flexijob arrangement.
• Available 2 to 3 mornings per week.
• Early riser starting at 7 a.m.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus, but enthusiasm is more important.

What does your role involve?

• Setting up, replenishing, and clearing the breakfast buffet
• Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and ensuring smooth service
• Performing dishwashing and cleaning tasks
• Keeping the breakfast area and kitchen tidy and organized
• Light kitchen assistance (such as warming food)
• Working closely with colleagues to make sure the morning service runs efficiently

Who are we looking for?

• You are eligible to work under a flexijob arrangement
• You are available 2 to 3 mornings per week
• You are an early riser. Starting at 7 a.m. is no problem for you
• You don’t mind working weekends and public holidays
• You are friendly, well-presented, and service-oriented
• Experience in hospitality or breakfast service is a plus, but not required – enthusiasm matters more than experience
• You speak Dutch or English
